Fall 2008

Choir Practice Resumes September 7

Choir practice resumes Sunday, September 7, immediately following the afternoon service. Any Zion member that would like to join the choir may sit in on the practice that day.

Fall Festival Meeting

If you are interested in helping at a Fall Festival for Zion in October, please attend a brief meeting on SUnday, September 7, immediately after the evening service and before Choir Practice.

Help Needed for Released-Time Class

Please join us next Thursday, September 18, at 3:20 p.m. to pass out flyers for this year’s Released-Time Class.

Cornfield Maze Youth Activity

Children age 6 to the 12th grade are invited to go to a cornfield maze on Friday evening, October 3. Any parents or other adults are invited to attend as chaperones.
Please sign up on the bulletin board so we can get the best price for this activity.

Released-Time Class Info

Please pray for our Released-Time Class and come to help if you are able. Last year we had 75 children enrolled and hope to have a big year this year, also.
Our released-time dates for this school year are:
Sept 30, Nov 11, Dec 9, Jan 13, Feb 10, Mar 10, April 7.
(Note: Released-Time Class is always on Tuesday.)

New Adult Classes for Fall

We are offering two new adult classes this Fall:
Ladies’ Class – Auditorium
Adult Class – Conference Room (this class is for men and women and will study highlights of the life and ministry of Jesus).

Weekly Schedule for Fall 2008:

Sunday: Sunday school / Adult Bible Class - 10:00 a.m. Morning Worship / Children's Church - 11:00 a.m. Afternoon Service - 4:00 p.m. Choir Practice - immediately following PM Service
Wednesday: Midweek Study & Prayer Hour - 7 p.m.
Thursday: Ladies' Bible Study - 10:30 a.m.
